What we are...

Shine On is a Christian organization that has recently transitioned from housing women in a home to expanding our ministry more with the needs of our community. We are excited about this transition but we are early in the process of redefining who Shine On is.

We are made up of a staff of three under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Read more about who we are below.

We are supported by a community of people (self-funded from donation and paybacks from former Shine On women) who want to help women to help themselves. We do not receive government funding.

Our Mission:
• Counseling services and Celebrate Recovery
• Transporting girls to rehab or directing them
• Help with financial situations like rent or bills
• Scholarships – we have given four this year to graduating seniors that come from families that needed help and students who have worked hard
• Helping find jobs and get into the real world
• Assist in purchasing vehicles when able
• Financial classes
• Random acts of kindness (like surprise bill pays for those that are really trying)

Many of these things we are already doing. The main thing is that we’ve freed up money to do more.

God only knows where He is taking Shine On and we want to go in the direction He is leading to be His hands and feet to our community and surrounding areas. We strive to remember that God is our Waymaker!

Who we are...

Becky Richardson – Founder

Becky has had a passion for helping women and changing the lives of children for years. After she lost a very close friend and soul sister to domestic violence, she felt a passion ignite in her to help save women, even if it was just one.

Becky formed the non-profit Shine On, then began praying that God would lead her in the right direction. She then met Shana Wolfe, and their dreams united. Becky is an owner of BeyondFaith Hospice and resides in Bryson, Texas. She has an incredibly supportive husband, Tracy, and two beautiful daughters.

Shana Wolfe – Co-Founder

Shana has been involved in jail and prison ministries and during that time she saw a tremendous need for a faith-based, transitional home for women recently released from jail or prison. These women had nowhere to go, and would end up back at the drug houses and begin the destructive cycle all over.

God led Shana to Becky Richardson who shared the same vision and dream to open up a home for these women.

Shana resides in Graham and is the owner and broker of Weatherbee Real Estate. She has a very supportive husband, Troy, and two amazing children.

Brenda Roberts – Director

Brenda is passionate about serving the Lord and helping others do the same. As the director of Shine On, she works with recipients on healing and restoration and helps these women transition back into the community.

Sharing from her own personal experiences, she is able to testify to the transforming power of the word of God and the healing that is available through the Holy Spirit.

Brenda lives in Graham and is a mother, a grandmother, and a great-grandmother. She has served the Lord for more than 35 years and has been ordained for 25. She has seen God do amazing transformations through the deliverance ministry. Her passion is teaching God’s word and focusing on prayer.

Shine On is a non-profit 501c3 organization. EIN#47-2408040
